The community also offers an 18 hole Golf Course, interconnecting trails, a 20 acre Nature Discovery Park, two elementary school sites and a middle school, library, fire station and new retail and commercial development. Three schools are planned for the community of Aliante.

Golf

The Aliante Golf Club is an 18-hole championship daily fee golf course designed by the award winning golf course architectural firm of Gary Panks Associates, in Scottsdale Arizona and managed by OB Sports Golf Management.

For Aliante, Panks designed a 6,900-yard, par-72 course. He emphasized that careful consideration was given to both the enjoyment of golfers and the safety and convenience of home owners.

"Since this will be a public golf course, we are maximizing turf to approximately 125 acres, which will offer wide landing areas for golfers and a good degree of safety for homeowners," Panks said, adding that the physical characteristics of the terrain enabled his design team to create a
series of very interesting and challenging holes. In other areas, the landscape pallet provides for ample shade trees and massing of shrubs and ground covers, while smaller flowering trees add abundant color and texture.

The golf shop features a retail facility, a restaurant/snack bar and a covered pavilion and patio that can accommodate group events.
